Select "stick this post to the front page"
A sticky post will always remain at the top of a blog. To make your post "sticky," you must change the post's visibility.

On the right hand side of the screen in the "Publish" menu, select "Edit" (next to the "Visibility" option). Under the "Public" option, check the box next to "stick this post to the front page". Once you press ok, this post will remain at the top of the page.

You can also set your blog to have a static front page.
