Counting posts and comments
From Georgetown University Commons Knowledge Base
If blog posts and/or comments on your course blog are part of your strategy for assessing participation, you don't need to count by hand. Our CampusPress plugin generates a list of post and comment counts by student.
Getting post and comment count for student participants
To access the post/comment count feature in CampusPress, you will first need to install the plugin. Go to "plugins" on the left of your dashboard, and find "CampusPress." Select "activate" from the options. You will then find that a "CampusPress" sidebar section appears on the left of your dashboard at the bottom. Select the "print" option to count and print out a list of the number of posts and comments associated with each student. You can select a date range or order your results in different ways by changing the criteria at the top of the page.
