TLISI UPDATE

The Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship is excited to welcome the Georgetown community to the Teaching, Learning & Innovation Summer Institute (TLISI) in one week, May 18-21. We encourage pre-registration for sessions, meals, and activities. Please visit the TLISI home page and click the “Register Now” button to pre-register.

Please view our updated institute schedule, which includes:

• updated session times and locations;
• new sessions, including a Digital Humanities Focus Group on Thursday from noon to 2pm; and
• a link to sign up for individual consultations on Thursday.

In the coming days, we will send emails to attendees who have indicated interest in specific sessions with information about how to access pre-session materials and resources.

On Monday, May 18 beginning at 10:30 a.m., attendees are welcome to come to Copley Formal to pick up their registration packet and badge. Our opening plenary and keynote address by Jeff Selingo will begin at 11 a.m. in Copley Formal, followed by lunch and remarks by President DeGioia.

With the recent release of the fifth Call for ITEL Projects, we are especially excited to cultivate ideas that support new, innovative approaches to pedagogy and experimentation in the classroom.
