This event is an opportunity for academic and student affairs administrators and faculty to engage and collaborate on the shared work of supporting student formation and well-being. Keynote and co-facilitator Dr. Marcia Baxter Magolda, Professor Emeritus at Miami University of Ohio, is a noted expert on student development, self-authorship, and the shared responsibility to support student learning. Together, we’ll explore ways to create explicit connections between well-being and formation at Georgetown, building on existing work and forming new collaborations.
This event is part of the Engelhard Conversations on Educating the Whole Person series and co-sponsored by the Engelhard Project for Connecting Life and Learning, the Doyle Engaging Difference Program, and the Division of Student Affairs as part of their continued work to find intentional ways of further engaging students in learning and formation.
Formal invitation to follow.
