CNDLS' Doyle Faculty Fellowships
Call for Fellows: 2017-2018

Are you interested in joining a community of colleagues in which to explore applications of inclusive pedagogy? Are you looking for support in the design or redesign of a course so that issues of difference and diversity are integrated in a significant way?

Consider applying for the Doyle Program Faculty Fellowship, a cohort-based, year-long engagement with colleagues.

The Faculty Fellows Cohort Model:

• Brings faculty from different disciplines together to engage in complex discussions about aspects of diversity over the course of 8 cohort meetings;
• Empowers faculty to be co-creators of a community that can act as resources for one another on questions of diversity and inclusion in the classroom;
• Supports faculty in integrating inclusive pedagogical approaches through readings and facilitated discussions; and
• Provides a space in which faculty work through the process of designing or redesigning a course to explore various aspects of diversity.

We invite all full-time Georgetown faculty who teach undergraduate courses to apply for the Doyle Faculty Fellows program for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Participating fellows will design or redesign a course of their choosing so that issues of difference and diversity are integrated in a significant way. Throughout this process and over the course of the 2017-2018 academic year, faculty will meet in community to discuss and reflect on this work and on areas of inclusive pedagogy.

In recognition of the significant commitment made by participating faculty, fellows will receive a stipend of $2,500.
